Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages and features help visitors. It only loads if you choose "Allow analytics". If you choose "No thanks", no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. We store your choice in your browser's local storage.

Your location

On Near me we ask for your location only when you press "Use my location". The calculation of the nearest pools happens in your browser; your location is not sent to us. If you type a postcode, it is sent to postcodes.io, a free UK postcode lookup, to turn it into coordinates. Nothing is stored.

Maps

Maps load from OpenStreetMap only when you press "View map". OpenStreetMap then receives your IP address, as with any website you visit.

Contact form

Messages sent with our contact form are delivered to us by Web3Forms. We use your name, email address and message only to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Booking links

When you click "Check availability", you leave our site for our booking partner. Their privacy policy applies from that point. The link includes a partner code so they can recognise that you came from us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Use the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
