Know the pool before you book.
"Hotel with pool" can mean a 25-metre lap pool or a small tub you cross in three strokes. It can open at 6am, or only for adults after 7pm, or close for the winter. Pool-Hotels.com exists so you know which, before you book.
We've mapped more than 8,000 hotels, holiday parks and cottages with a swimming pool across the UK. For each one we show what we know about the pool: indoor or outdoor, how many pools, children's pools and water slides. We are checking the details that matter to swimmers, one pool at a time: length, water temperature, opening hours, kids' swim times, outdoor season and whether non-residents can swim.
What we stand for
- Measured, not promised. Metres, degrees and times before adjectives.
- Honest about the water. If a pool is small, cold, busy or closed, we say so. If we don't know yet, we say that too.
- For every swimmer. Lap swimmers, families, couples and local swimmers each get a Best for and Not for.
- Every stay with water. Hotels, holiday parks and cottages side by side, including places we can't earn from.
